You love me! You really love me!

No, seriously, thanks for taking the time to drop a little change in my tip jar. Believe me, this mama appreciates it more than I could ever say.

Every blog that makes money should have a good disclosure policy on it. Sure, I’m not a big fancy blog pulling in thousands (or even hundreds) of dollars. But it’s still important to lay it out for you all.

  • I am signed up with Text-Link-Ads and PayU2Blog, both of which pays me a small amount to occasionally add text links to my blog posts. Some of the links might be offensive or objectionable, but then that’s also the threat with any of my other links. Crocheted vagina anyone? When in doubt click links with caution, both here and any where else on the web.
  • I use affiliate links. Especially with Amazon.com. If I find something awesome and want to share it and make a few cents along the way, well I’m going to do it. The pennies add up, and usually go towards buying more and more books. Someday I’ll hopefully have a house with a library in it. *sigh*
  • I do product reviews and giveaways. My reviews are generally done through Mom Central, who drops me a $20 Amamzon.com gift certificate for it (because I’m a book addict people, book addict).Sometimes I’ll do a review through a company that wants to spread the word on their product. I charge $20 for an honest review, unless otherwise worked out through the company. You can’t buy a wholely positive review, but my time and effort is worth some compensation (read here, and here, and here).
