When E was little I bought all the Baby Signs books to use with him. He caught on rather quickly and soon had a fairly impressive signing vocab. But with each word that he mastered saying he would quit using the sign until they faded away leaving only spoken language left.

A few articles that I found in my email this morning and wanted to save. I find it odd that theere are so many “benefits” articles, and then the last two say that preschool is stressful for kids leaving their parents for the first time and that the amount of kids in daycare is shocking.

On the farm
The mail today brought a box for E from the Brighter Vision Learning Adventures.
I can’t help it, I’m a sucker for the word “free”, and the first shipment is absolutely free. With wide eyes he tore into that box to get at his treasure. A cute book about animals sleeping on the farm, 2 sets [...]
