For one of my online homeschool groups I collected some recipes from a local tribe (Osage) and put together a meal for Thanksgiving for them to try. I thought I’d offer the recipes here too if anyone is adventurous.

I can’t believe Thanksgiving in this Thursday (for those in the US at least). The year has flown by and I feel like I’ve missed some weeks in there somewhere.

It seems that Dr. Phil’s infamous anti-homeschooling episode is fianlly scheduled to air November 24, the day after Thanksgiving. Spunky has more details at her blog. Personally, Dr. Phil makes me spitting mad on so many of his stances that I just can’t bring myself to check it out.
