Wired For Noise

The kids are loud, I’m just opinionated.

I was up very late last night coding the redesign for this blog. A few glitches that are evading me, but soon enough WiredForNoise will be pretty. Yay!

Early this morning we loaded up and headed to the library in the city for the morning reading time. Only a few others came; a mom from my MOPS group, a woman from out of state here visiting family and entertaining her toddler, and a very sweet woman with 2 adorable girls who introduced herself and invited me to come back. I think I will. The woman in charge read a few books on Halloween, talked a bit to the kids, then passed out goody bags with stickers and cookies and 2 coloring pages for each child. It was fun, even though E spent the entire time walking around, talking, and arguing with the woman. He gets a kick out of arguing, no idea where that comes from. *looks innocent*

I also found out that starting the 23rd there will be a once a week preschool hour at the library. Totally free; just stories, crafts, music and dancing, and a snack. I’m almost tempted just so that E can have some more play time and I can perhaps meet othr moms in the area. Mommies need socialization too you know. The only down side is he is techniqully 6 months too young. I’m wondering if I can pass him off as older. Most people do comment on how well he speaks, I’ve heard plenty tell me he speaks much older than his age. And he knows most of the things that most preschools don’t begin teaching for another year or two. Hmmm….

Oh! Nearly forgot! And we made cookies. Oatmeal raisin almond cookies. (Or, lets see what’s in the cabnets that E can do without blowing up the house). They’re actually pretty darn good.
