A Little Of This, A Little Of That
I spent all day Sunday shaking my first and curses the technology gods while my laptop sat like a very expensive paperweight. After a thousand or so system restores it finally lurched back to life at 10 PM last night. Now I’m spending this Monday trying to catch up on all the things I didn’t get done online yesterday. So to fill the void here’s a little rundown of things I’ve loved this morning.
- Man throws shoes at President Bush. I only regret his bad aim, a boot to the bed might be the best things to happen to that man.
- Bush flips the bird to the US on the way out the door. Now see, these kind of things are what makes me sympathize with the shoe thrower.
- If you say auto workers are making $70 an hour I’m going to throw a boot at your head.
- Does Obama support breastfeeding? He better if he knows what’s good for him, we moms are notorious for getting what we want.
- Think only certified teachers can teach kids? Well, that happens to be another myth busted.
- Looking for fellow tree huggers to hug? This list of the 40 top green moms and dads on Twitter rocks. And I’m not just saying that because I made the list.
- To end on a sweet note, I’m drooling over this how-to on making amazing fudge.

The video of the shoe throwing incident was halarious. The second, third, and fourth times I watched it I had the same reaction. It’s just funny as can be!
Shame that he missed, though.
