Back to the fair

We went back to the fairgrounds this morning. Morning is the perfect time to go to see all the animals. The rides are not open yet and most of the kids are in school still so there are no crowds to trap us in and to stir up the animals. The few kids that were there were tending to their animals so E got to watch them bathing, grooming, and feeding cows, goats, and sheep. We got to watch the judges checking out the rabbits and see the chickens and roosters really awake and strutting. E absorbed everything in and most of the adults were more than happy to explain things to him. I swear he’ll be a vet one day with his love of animals.
