Bloggy Giveaways and Breastfeeding Week

August 1 marks the beginning of World Breastfeeding Week. This year’s theme is Going For The Gold, meaning we’re striving to help mothers meet their breastfeeding goals.

Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival ButtonIn celebration of World Breastfeeding Week I’m joining in the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival to give away a breastfeeding surprise pack to one mom. I’ve put together a fun little gift pack of the fun things new breastfeeding moms could need. You will get :

  • A new copy of Amy Spangler’s Breastfeeding: A Parent’s Guide, full of information and tips for both moms and dads. This is a great resource for new breastfeeding parents.
  • A set of cloth nursing pads. Nursing pads are invaluable for keeping leaks under control during the early weeks of breastfeeding. Cloth pads are softer and more comfortable than the plastic disposable ones, and being washable you won’t need to worry about buying them constantly.
  • A zipper pull featuring the breastfeeding logo. You hand hang this from your diaper bag, key chain, or any where else to show off that you’re a breastfeeding mom.
  • And more!

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment here letting me know that you are in. US residents only, giveaway ends August 1st and winner will be announced on August 2nd. One commenter will be chosen at random to win.

    Awesome prize, especially the cloth nursing pads. I gave some cloth nursing pads to a friend at her baby shower. I love giving breastfeeding stuff to moms to be.

    My sister just had her first baby on Sunday. She’s new, obviously, to the whole breastfeeding thing, so she could really use this prize. As for me….I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old, but hope to have another sometime soon, so I may have to borrow some of it from her if I win! :)

    I could definitely use the cloth nursing pads – my son is 5 months old but I still leak; and I did pretty much the whole 18 months I nursed my daughter too, so I don’t see an end in site with my son LOL :)
