E’s Spring gift came a bit late, but he couldn’t be happier about it anyway. His very own spade, mini-rake, shovel, and watering can. All real, and made out of metal so they will last longer. Plus they came with a small canvas tote bag with lots of pockets and storage. He’s so excited.
I gave him a packet of pumpkin seeds that I had and now he’s begging me to take him outside. Who cares if its raining when there’s gardening to be done.
I love how excited he is to get to do what mommy does. Its more than just digging in the dirt, its being a part of the adult world all around him. He’s my little sponge, soaking up everything that he comes into contact with. The good and the bad. Luckily at this age I can still make sure there’s more good than bad for him to soak up.

What an adorable expression! I bet he had so much fun in the garden!
