oh yah! Summer, you are not alone. I’ve been doing this for 7 years and still every summer I start making reading lists and schedules and ordering catalogs and gnashing my teeth over what to do about -well, its usually science or math. But anywho, this is kind of like the homeschoolers equivalent to nesting I think. Mellower minds than ours know that reality will bowl over and far surpass any attempts they make to conquer time and learning objectives, so they just enjoy summer completely. But to us, it is okay to bring your planners and notes and library books to the beach while you convince yourself you can do it. Have fun poking around and planning and then hopefully be flexible enough to change around as your son’s needs indicate.

I just discovered you via your Twitter comment about “That Baby CD” (I work with its creator/producer) and have to bookmark you now because we have much in common, from being trained doulas and childbirth fanatics to being Obama and choice supporters.

    Keep writing!
