I’m going to share a little secret today. I’ve totally got a crush on this guy

Who is he? Well Tim McIlrath of course. Just the lead singer of my favorite band ever, Rise Against. Vegetarian, liberal, anti-war, and all around hottie. OK, I’m shallow. So sue me.

When he sings softly on Anywhere But Here I’m read to pack my bags and escape, right after I stop swooning that it. When he screams passionately in Give It All I start bouncing around and looking for some trouble to get into. Then when he sings Swing Life Away I curl up in Dearest’s arms and sigh.

We live on front porches and swing life away,
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I’ll slave till the end,
I won’t cross these streets until you hold my hand

But, I have one reason outside of his politics and vocal skills that makes me giggle like a school girl. This is Tim.

And this, in a never before seen on this blog presentation, is my Dearest.
