Drunk Blogging In 2010

It’s 1:10 Am, and I’ve had a couple glasses of champagne already. Which means A) I’m heavily relying on spellcheck to get me through this post, and B) it’s the new year. So I’m taking advantage of this warm, happy feeling in my stomach to write a sappy love post to 2010.
It is not just a new year, it’s a new decade. Everything seems so shiny and new, everyone is awash in the warm glow of potential. This is the year. This is the year for real health care, time-traveling robots, and flying cars like they had on the Jetsons. (Did I mention I’ve been drinking tonight?)
Everyone is making plans to be better, live better, and have a better time. We’re all going to be the people we want to be, all because of 2010.
I’ll drink to that! Happy 2010. x

I have to say that no flying cars is the biggest disappointment of my adult life. I really thought as a 9 year old I ‘d be flying to work.
