Eye See You
Wednesday is Trey’s birthday, but since Dearest has to work the plan was to do something Tuesday evening. Good thing we didn’t plan anything big and send out party invitations. Instead of blowing up balloons and passing out candy I’ll be holding down a screaming Evan and trying to fruitlessly doctor him. The poor boy is suffering from a nasty case of pink eye.
In both eyes.
On top of a sinus infection and allergies.
Folks, it’s not a happy time around here. He absolutely refuses to let me put anything into or near his eyes. Not the soothing eye drops, not the prescription I ran and got last minute, and not the milk I was using Sunday and most of Monday to help. What? Would you really expect anything else from me?
So the new plan is gifts and a cupcakes just for us, then maybe something fun next week.

Ugh! There’s just so much crud going around right now. Half of the kids in Bridget’s preschool are out with something or another. Hope your little man gets better pronto. Nothing worse than being sick on your big day.
Hi! I found you through Kelby Carr, now I”m “following” you on twitter. When my daughter had pink eye a while back, it took two adults to get the drops in her – one to do the drops, the other (dad) to physically restrain her. Ah, good times.
