Like you didn’t already know that.
It’s been a week since Trey’s birthday and I think all the gifts are in now. We got him the wooden train set and a push buggy (that’s from Evan), my mom got him new swim trunks with a train on them and a new shorts and shirt outfit. My grandma and great uncle bought bubble wands and a pair of plastic golf bags for the boys with toy clubs and balls. Dearest’s family didn’t even send a card.
Have I mentioned before how we are the black sheep?
Dearest’s sister and her three get taken on shopping trips, visit every day, get toys and clothes bought for them often, are invited over to stay the night, and get to come over and play daily. My kids are lucky to bump into his parents in the store once a month. Am I bitter? Yeah, just a little.
