Go for the Green
I actually got something wrote the other night, and I’m quite proud of it. Easy ways your family can “go green”. It really is pretty easy to do, but it’s like a slippery slope that once you start you just keep going. And then it’s hard to see the small simple steps from the very beginning. LOL
It’s nice to sit down and write, and it’s made me realize that I’m taking on far too much. I love blogging, I love blogging for pay, but I can only spread myself out over so much. And I’ve definitely taken on more than I can chew. So I’m giving up one of my blogs. it’s a parenting blog, fairly new, with a new network that hasn’t got much steam yet.
In giving it up I’ve also realized that I’m coming at it from the wrong angle. I’ve been writing about parenting and motherhood. But the ads and alyout fit more with products. Since it’s not my blog to change, the writing has to change to fit the blog. A product review blog would work great, discussing diaper bags and baby clothes and everything that moms and babies would need. But I can’t do that, I’m not a product review kind of gal.
I want to wait to let them know I’m stepping down until I know they can find a replacement. If anyone is interested let me know and I’ll put in a good word for you. It could be a great starter blog for someone interested in blogging for pay, or a fun side project that makes a little cash.

Sounds interesting Summer. Can you email me offline about it?
As if I too don’t have too many projects!
I’m all about taking too much on. Seems like all I do is jump from one deadline or errand or scraped knee to the next. Trying to balance motherhood, my personal goals and interests and that highly coveted sleep thingy is hard sometimes.
Glad you’re taking a step back to breathe a bit. Good on you!
