HELP!!!

A is nearly 17 months old and I haven’t had the baby fever for a moment. With E at 6 months I was ready for another little one to carry. My lack of baby fever had me convinced that my “two is enough, I’m done, thanks” mindset was here to stay.

It started when a woman I read shared pictures of her brand new baby. Then this morning a friend share photos she had taken of a brand new, tiny baby. And another friend posted a link to a woman talking about childbirth and midwives and UC (all topics I have been avoiding on purpose).

Suddenly all I can think about is how much I love being pregnant and how wonderful new babies are. Somebody save me! I need someone to shake my shoulders until I forget all about new babies.

Fat, squishy, sweet smelling, tiny babies. Soft, sleepy, fit in your arms babies. Cuddly, adorable, perfect little…

I wish I could help you. I too wanted another little one right after I had Evan. I was so eager to have Harry but now the longer I go with out being pregnant the less I am really wanting another one. Then I see a tiny little baby and then I know I am not quite done just yet but am happy to enjoy the two I have right now. I might as well since I have plenty of diapers for the baby.

Bab’s baby photos really got me going too. Of course, I’m already thick in the heat of baby fever, but those pics just had my ovaries a-thumpin!

I’m am the WRONG person to talk to!! Granted, I’m now desperately ready to add an older child to our home. Regardless, I’m on board with the “MORE!”

I can’t help. I have major baby fever and am not good at resisting. At least you made it 17 months. Hah.

Well, I think you could volunteer to hold your friends babies a lot and save some energy. A kitten maybe?
