I’m nauseous… I’m nauseous…

Oh yes, we’ve hit the stage where waves of nausea wash over me through out the day. Oh joy. I’ve had to change my diet around to accommodate texture and taste issues. Cucumbers make me sick, cucumbers people! What kind of a world is it when I can’t have a slice or two of cumber on my salad?

Moving on from the food issues…

I’m actually writing this Sunday night. Why? Because Monday morning I have to be dressed, awake, and on the road at 5 AM. Have you seen me a t 5 AM? It ain’t pretty. Add the kids to the mix and there’s a good chance we’ll make the 6 O’clock news, not in a  good way. Dearest flies out at 9, off to Oregon for 2 days and a really good chance of getting the job. Unfortunately since we live so far from the airport and he’s got to be there super early to get through security, I’ve got to get up and get around with the kids. I’ll try to update to my Twitter through my phone, but chances are I won’t be coherent.

So wish us luck. Both for Dearest getting the job and for me making it out of the city alive. Have I mentioned that I’ve never driven in the city before? And that I don’t do stress very well? Yeah, this is going to go over so well! On the bright side, you could use this time to pull out the popcorn machines and flip on the news. The crazy lady ranting on the freeway in a silver shirt, that would be me.

You can’t imagine how badly I feel for you at this moment: morning sickness, having to get up early, having to get kids up early, driving in the city, airport . . . .

    Sending good karma your way!

Deep breaths. Maybe the kids will fall back asleep on the way there since it is so early and maybe your stomach won’t have woken up yet either. Good luck!
