New Year’s resolutions

  • Get off my butt and away from the computer. Seriously, I spend far too much time here. I try to justify it in that I don’t spend long stretches, just short spurts. But it still adds up to too much time typing and not enough time with my boys.
  • Get back on schedule. I’m so bad about letting any little bump completely wreck the order I was trying to make. I can feel just how off we are by the constant moodiness, the tantrums, the sleep issues. Getting back into sync will help so much.
  • Clean my house! OK, so its not quite a pig sty yet. But we’re getting close. I need to reintroduce myself to FlyLady and get back in the groove of cleaning my house. For a few weeks there the house looked so good even Dearest was commenting on it. But we’ve sunk back into CHAOS (Can’t Have Anyone Over Syndrome).
  • Do more with E. Now that A is getting pas the “hold me, hold me, feed me feed me” stage and is happy to crawl around and play for a few minutes I need to spend more time with E. We’ve got finger paints, play dough, and tons of activity books just waiting for us to play with.
  • Don’t forget about myself. I need to remember to pull away a little bit of time and just hang out with me. Read in my books, take a bubble bath, write, whatever I want to do (but as far from the computer as I can). Getting more ME time will help with my own inner CHAOS.

Good resolutions, all! I like the first one because I have accidentally been doing that just by being so busy. Hope you have a great new year!

    Wonderful resolutions!

Except getting away from the computer, which is bad because you may blog less, which is bad because when I get a chance to be at the computer (which isn’t much these days with Mr. Spawnling around) I won’t have as many blog entries to read from you.

And your name is Mama Chaos, so obviously you’re destined to live in chaos.

(Ok, ok… it’s a good resolution but it’s bad for me. At least I did my best to try and talk you out of it)

Happy new year, Mama C! *hugs*

LOL If you saw my house you would see why I choose the name Mama Chaos. Oh, the chaos and disorder!

And I really do need to get off my butt more. But I promise to at least get a good blog post or two in so as not to deprive my loyal readers. Ha!
