On a personal note…

It is going on 6 years that I have been drug free. Considering that I went from a $100 a day habit to nothing in 3 days without drug rehab is pretty impressive. But certainly not something I would recomend for anyone. Going cold turkey on your own can be one of the scariest, most painful, hardest things that anyone can do. The pain of childbirth was stubbing my toe compared to the intense feeling that covers every inch of your body while you sweat out the toxins. Light hurt, the air filling my lungs hurt, I could feel the blood pulsing through my veins and it was excruciating. If anyone ever wants to come off of a drug I whole heartedly reccomend seeking professional help. There are places where they will help you come down gently and work with you. There is no reason to go through it alone.
