Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothies
Dearest finally got some more peanut butter when he went to the store. So tomorrow morning the boys and I will be indulging in some banana and peanut butter smoothies for breakfast. They are so yummy and simple to make, and almost no picky eater can resist them. So I thought I would share the recipe for everyone else to enjoy.

- 2 bananas
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 cups low fat milk
Slice up the bananas and toss them into a blender with the milk and the peanut butter. Blend until smooth. Add the honey and mix. This recipes makes 4 servings
Instead of honey you could add 1/4 cup of cocoa powder or slice a handful of strawberries to add to it. Or try both if you’re really inspired for something yummy. Enjoy!
And don’t forget to check out the Works For Me Wednesday post for tons of helpful tips and ideas.

Wow, that sounds easy and delicious. I will be making this for breakfast on mornings when it is too hot to cook, which is coming up quickly here. Thanks for the idea.
Thank you for a great sounding recipe which will use up my stockpile of peanut butter AND bananas…my husband sometimes gets hit on the head by a jar of falling peanut butter…so thanks again!

This sounds delicious! My daughter has been asking about new smoothie concoctions, so this was perfect timing! Can’t wait to try it myself!

i Drink it all the time!
Thanks to the article, well thought out. I searched for a while to find the right answer to my questions!
I just made this. It tastes great. This may sound dumb but does the banana need to be frozen or not. I just used an unrozen one.
ThANks,
maria
@13 good to hear it still tasted good for you as I was just googling wondering the same thing. Sadly it seems I too can’t find the answer to this either, so unfrozen banana it is!
