Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothies

Dearest finally got some more peanut butter when he went to the store. So tomorrow morning the boys and I will be indulging in some banana and peanut butter smoothies for breakfast. They are so yummy and simple to make, and almost no picky eater can resist them. So I thought I would share the recipe for everyone else to enjoy.
banana smoothie

  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 cups low fat milk

Slice up the bananas and toss them into a blender with the milk and the peanut butter. Blend until smooth. Add the honey and mix. This recipes makes 4 servings

Instead of honey you could add 1/4 cup of cocoa powder or slice a handful of strawberries to add to it. Or try both if you’re really inspired for something yummy. Enjoy!

I just made this. It tastes great. This may sound dumb but does the banana need to be frozen or not. I just used an unrozen one.

    ThANks,

@13 good to hear it still tasted good for you as I was just googling wondering the same thing. Sadly it seems I too can’t find the answer to this either, so unfrozen banana it is!
