You know, I’m not really into video games. Sure back in high school I went through a phase where I played Resident Evil nonstop for months, but beyond that it’s just not me. Some days Dearest talks about wanting a Wii or a Playstation or whatever is out but I’m generally less than thrilled.
Then he had to go and get me a copy of the Sims 2. Oh my gosh this is addictive!
I haven’t had time to blog, to write, to check my email because every quiet moment I’m playing this game. There is something about controlling the lives of large groups of people that just feeds into my God complex. Foolish (virtual) mortals I shall decide what you eat, where you live, and who you marry. Insert maniacal laughter here.
I might need a 12 step program to wean me off of the game. Or another expansion pack to add to the fun. Know any good cheat codes?

I was addicted to the original game but then realized that I was telling them to do things that I really needed to be doing in my own home. I really don’t play computer games much any more.

To this day I have not really understood Sims yet.
And I better not start it now. That’s just one more thing that would keep me from doing the things I’m supposed to do.

I am not a huge game person at all, but I made DH buy me a Nintendo DS and Professor Layton and the Curious Village, just because it looked so AWESOME! I spent 15 hours (not in a row, LOL) and beat the game, and now I am not sure what to do with my Nintendo

Angry Housewives Play Video Games- Damn right. I secretly play when the fam is asleep. I love to control and am more passive aggresive so me and the games are a perfect fit.

I’ve been thinking of playing the sims. But then there is that whole…addiction! xD And I thought Ragnarok was bad. I heard playing the sims can make you poor. xD

Ctrl + Shift + “C”, then type “Motherlode” for 5,000 Simoleans.
Google for something called the “InSIMenator” - it’s a cheat object you can install and make your game SO WILD, it’s fun!!!

oh man…I used to be SO addicted to Sims…before they went online and addictions got even worse. *whew* very glad I don’t have it anymore..
