Sicklies

Both boys are feeling icky.

grumblesLast night we went grocery shopping and they both whined the entire time. Whined, complained, and had a couple tantrums as well. Luckily we were just about done when the fevers fully erupted. I knew they were looking red faced and a little warm, but I just thought it was from the foul moods they both were in. We ran over to the pharmacy and grabbed some children’s Tylenol and went to go pay.

I knew they were sick when they both went to bed without a fight and without 30,000 excuses to get up.

I went on to bed myself, but Dearest stayed up late. A good thing too as Evan had a few accidents in his sleep. Poor boy! Trey did OK overnight, but today has been bad enough I actually bought some dispossable diapers. Anyone who knows me knows this is serious.

Surprisingly, they’re both up and running around and being silly. Despire needing bathroom breaks/diaper changes often and still both being warm they seem to be in good moods. I’m hoping this means it’s a quick bug that will pass soon.

 Very, very soon.

    Ugh.

Tell the boys hello for all of us, and to get better. Let them know that the kids have been feeding the sea gulls every day. Andrew thinks they’re awesome because they’re like trash cans – they’ll eat anything! ha!

Sure hope that it is one of those 24 hour things and that they get well soon.
