So, What Brought You Here?
Hello there! Like this post? Subscribe to the feed and get more giggles every day.
I thought I would do something fun here each month. In the network forums that my other blogs are part of each month we share the best and the weirdest stats our blogs have had for the previous month. It’s kind of fun to see how we’ve improved and what search terms people are really looking for. But some of the odd ones are, well odd!
So I thought it would be fun to explore the stats here and see what really drove in the readers. Don’t worry, I promise to only do this once a month. Maybe twice next January to see December’s and all of 2008’s stats.
OK, so what search terms had people flocking here in January?
- lifehasafunnyway - I don’t know if this is who they are searching for, but I used to know a womanonline that went by that user name. She had 3 beautiful kids, some serious PPD, and a jerk of an ex. One day she disapeared from the web. But several of her comments seem to bring people here. Maybe they’re looking for her. Where ever she is I hope she and her children are well.
- vision board - I posted my own vision board a while back and shared it in a contest online. I actually won a prize in the contest.
- books are my friends - They are, they really are.
- (actually tied for 3rd) green valentine - I knew those posts on eco-friendly Valentine options would be appreciated.
But what about the weird search trms? What freaky stuff were people looking for when they some how found me?
- I need a hug - Don’t we all, don’t we all…
- my free boobs - Hey, mine were free too!
- I’m your friend brushy brushy - I am absolutely frightened of this one.
So what posts hit the spot with readers during January?
- http://wiredfornoise.com/valentines-jewelry-for-you Apparently, people like free jewelry. Who knew?
- http://wiredfornoise.com/on-my-own Moving past the cosleeping stage and into the big boy bed was a huge topic for mor than just myself.
- http://wiredfornoise.com/nightmares When I came clean about a sleep issue I had as a child a lot of people listened. Hopefully it shed some light on anyone else suffering sleep paralysis.
OK, I’m done now. Let’s try to make February a lot more interesting.
