What I Learned From The Sotomayor Nomination
I temporarily lifted my TV-Free ban to watch the nomination hearings of Sotomayor today. And wow, I’m learning a lot. The most important thing, however, can be summed up like this:
This is a person with no race or gender and therefore has no bias or prejudice. In fact, this person is a perfectly blank slate who will always rule fairly and justly.

This is a person just overflowing with bias and prejudice for having a race and a gender, and in fact the only reason she has any power is to try and strip the rightful place of power among those with no race or gender.
Well, there you go. No wonder so many white guys in suits are up in arms over everything. Their judicial purity is fading away before their eyes.

I wasn’t watching, but just read about Graham asking her if she had a temperament problem.
Might as well call her exotic and spicy.
I think your TV Free ban has done you a disservice.
go to http://www.askheritage.org & learn the truth about this nominee. Her past rulings and speeches say much about her. More than any cooked up responses she is using today to try to win people over and appear non-discriminatory.
This is a lifetime appointment and we need people that understand the Constitution and that will uphold it in a court of law.

I don’t rely on just TV to learn, I also have the internet. So no, not having TV has done me no disservice on learning more about her. And sorry, but any site with Hannity and Limbaugh on the front page I can sum up in one two words : bullshit and lies.
