You? Are awesome. Now I'm having visions of converting more mommybloggers into metalheads, hee. (Though for the record, I'm as much into Ella Fitzgerald and Ani Difranco as I am into OTEP.) There are lots more women doing metal these days... at some point I'm going to do a feature article on the phenomenon. But OTEP's always going to be a top favorite. I just spent all kinds of time reading link after link, following the one in your post. A white guy, any white guy, could run as a Republican for president and just sit back and let the sexism OR racism camps beat each other up and self destruct. I just listened to something on the radio last week where guests were literally listing off sexist or racist things their candidates (Clinton or Obama) had endured in a very perverse kind of competition.
