White Wine Goes To My Head

Yesterday I actually was able to do some beading. I made a gorgeous bracelet and earring set that I just love. I’m calling the set “Wine tasting” as it reminds me of a tall glass of cool wine. Small green glass grape bunches with gold lines, small sparkly gold balls, and green/brown/whiteish Czech glass beads. Definitely something to wear with an elegant black dress, hair pulled back, sitting at a fancy restuarant sipping white wine.

Or at least doing that in your mind. Hopefully I will be getting a better camera soon. I’ve borrowed my mom’s camera, and it sucks. Maybe even worse than my old one, which is saying a lot. To get a better idea it’s made of these, these, and these beads.

I also snapped a quick pic of my “work area”. Or, stolen plates from the kids that I carry around and use where ever I can find a spare inch. Cyndi from Jewelry and Beading is showing off beaders’ work spaces and shared my humble stuff. Run over and see what I’m working with here.

Nice! A friend recently showed me how to do some of the twists and loops and I find it puzzling. Maybe practice makes it easier….
